Job Purpose

The Project Management Services (PMS) Business Stream executes projects providing project management teams to clients.

The role is to carry out Business development, to support proposal execution and to manage projects of this division within the Middle East, including UAE, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and other countries in the region.

Principal Duties

  • To develop and keep up to date a Business Development Strategy for the area.
  • Input into the strategic aims and policies of the PMS Business Stream.
  • To carry out Business Development, in liaison with the other members of the Stream and other streams in the area.
  • To execute and to manage the execution of PMS proposals.
  • To manage the execution of PMS projects.
  • Produce monthly reports on projects and proposals being executed.
  • Liaise with head of PMS stream and managers of other streams for allocation of resources for projects and proposals.
  • To recruit personnel for projects in liaison with recruitment specialists in the region and in Head Office.
  • Other related duties as may arise from time to time.

    • Essential Skills

  • Extensive experience as an Engineer and Project Manager in the oil/gas/aviation fuel industry
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to write proposals, reports.
  • Ability to manage own time, to produce work in a timely and time efficient manner
  • Ability to manage junior engineers etc
  • Ability to liaise and work with clients in a clear, friendly manner
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and codes of practice
  • Basic knowledge of Word / Excel
