Penspen wins this prestigious award for the first time for growing exports by 90% to £75 M over 3 years. The Group operates in four principal regions of the world: the Americas, Europe/North Africa, Middle East/Caspian and Asia Pacific and has grown 400% in the last 5 years. 70% of the sales are exports
The Queen's Awards for Enterprise are the UK's most prestigious Awards for business performance. They recognise and reward outstanding achievement by UK companies. They are presented in the categories of International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.
The Awards are made each year by The Queen on her birthday, on the advice of the Prime Minister, who is assisted by an Advisory Committee that includes representatives of Government, Industry and Commerce, and the Trade Unions.
