Up to 20 MMSCFD of Natural Gas is currently produced at 103A as associated gas, and then flared. the owner ZOC (ZueitinaOil Company) wishes to use this gas for injection, both as it reduces the environmental impact of the station and because it releases other gas for sale.
The gas is compressed in a live stage compressor driven by a single gas turbine, all supplied by Solar Turbines. Most of the gas is delivered to the compressor at 40 psia, with a side stream at about 300 psia. Gas is delivered at 500 psiato a distribution pipeline.
