Zueitina Oil Company (ZOC) requires to transmit 1,500MMSCFD of sweet natural gas from their gas field at 103a to the coastal networks at Marsa-El-Brega via a 206km pipeline. The development will be split into several phases in order to achieve the desired total flow rate.
Penspen was awarded an EPC turnkey contract for phase 1, which include; detailed design, procurement, and construction for the compressor station with associated facilities, including new control building, and the Pressure Reduction and Metering Station (PRMS) at Marsa-El-Brega at the desired maximum flow rate, 300MMSCFD. Penspen awarded a purchase order to Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery to supply 2 compressors.
