Penspen was awarded the contract for Design Engineering Consultant by East Gas Company to undertake the conceptual, detailed design and procurement services for a new gas compression station and associated facilities at Al Arish, North Sinai, Egypt.
This first compressor station for East Gas Company will be built on the existing 36" diameter, 258.5km pipeline between Al Arish and Aqaba - Jordon (243.5km onshore from Sinai Al Arish to Taba and 15km Gulf of Aqaba offshore) to increase the current capacity of 7 MCM/day (2.6 BCMA) up to 33 MCM/Day (12 BCMA).
