China Petroleum Engineering and Construction Corporation (CPECC) has awarded Penspen the contract for carrying out the Detailed Engineering for the Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline (ADCOP) Project. CPECC is the appointed EPC Contractor for the Project and International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) is the project developer.
The ADCOP project will transport up to 1.5MMBPD of crude oil from the main producing areas in Abu Dhabi to Fujairah on the East coast of the UAE. The project facilities include a 370km long, 48" diameter oil export pipeline, a main pumping station, intermediate pump station, main oil terminal and three single point mooring buoys for deepwater tanker loading at Fujairah on the Indian Ocean coast.
