The Nabucco natural gas pipeline constitutes a dedicated gas transit and transportation pipeline from Turkey to Austria via Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary. Total length is more than 3000 km.
Capacity will be phased from 8Bcm/a in the first year to 31Bcm/a in the 10th year in four Phases.
Penspen was appointed in December 2007 as Owner’s Engineer for the development. To assist with the overall studies, five local engineering companies will be appointed to produce individual ‘in Country’ FEED’s, one for each member state.
