Marathon Oil (UK) Limited is currently developing the East Brae facility to allow the tie-back of the BP Devenick Development.
The Devenick field is a moderately sized reservoir lying 13km southeast of the Harding platform and approximately 35km north of East Brae, straddling Blocks 9/24b and 9/29a. It contains gas and condensate at moderately high pressure and temperature.
The field straddles two main field development blocks, one of which is owned 100% by BP and the other of which is 81% BP and 19% RWE. BP and RWE together make up the ‘Devenick owners’. The field has not yet been unitised.
Andrew Palmer & Associates, the offshore division of the Penspen Group, has been awarded the FEED for this project.
