Informed Pipeline Integrity Management Planning in Chile using THEIA, Penspen’s Digital Integrity Management Solution

Project Background

As part of a master services agreement, Penspen provided technical advice to a Chilean client on a range of mechanical integrity disciplines to ensure the integrity and reliability of a 2,000km long transportation system. The resulting integrity reports would ensure regulatory compliance.

Services

Penspen’s asset integrity team, including geotechnicians, integrity specialists and corrosion specialists, utilised THEIA, Penspen’s asset integrity software, to provide the client with all critical asset data sets for future decision making. A dedicated THEIA technical support specialist ensured the client was provided full access to their data and provided ongoing support for future use.

Result

Establishing THEIA with our client enabled them to ensure all records, including ILI records, construction and operating details, were stored in one central location, THEIA’s document repository. In addition, the use of THEIA means the client also has access to Penspen calculations and methodologies for future integrity and maintenance decisions.
