LNG Regasification Pipeline Project FEED Study
The project plans to import natural gas to a country in Southern Europe using liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplied from a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) moored offshore.
Project Background
The project plans to import natural gas to a country in Southern Europe using liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplied from a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) moored offshore. The gas is to be transmitted via a moored submerged turret loading (STL) buoy through flexible risers to a pipeline end manifold (PLEM). From the PLEM the gas is carried by a 35 km, 40” diameter subsea pipeline to an onshore reception terminal also known as the above ground installation (AGI).
The AGI feeds the gas directly into the gas national transmission network. The pipeline will potentially link two PLEMs to the onshore terminal. One PLEM will be brought into use in the initial development and the second will enable an additional FSRU to be linked to the pipeline when the level of demand increases.
Services
- Management of the STL buoy system vendor’s FEED
- PLEM design
- Onshore pipeline
- Offshore pipeline
- AGI and connection to the national transmission network
