Project Background

Penspen’s Asset Management team in Europe were awarded a three-year contract for the provision of Pressure Reduction Installations (PRI) maintenance and emergency services by GTC. 

The contract award builds on a long-standing and valued relationship with GTC, with Penspen delivering installation and maintenance of pressure reduction equipment, meter installations, and associated services since 2004. 

Services

The scope of Penspen’s work covers PRI functional checks, overhaul and commissioning, as well as logger installation and exchange. As part of our QHSE ‘Zero Harm’ vision, Penspen also utilise SHE and quality management systems, providing suitable permits, risk assessments and method statements for all work. 

Covering sites across England and Wales, the scope also includes maintenance of medium, intermediate, and high-pressure tiers and regulator sizes, from 2” to 8”. 

The project is delivered via Penspen’s mobile asset model, in which multi-skilled technicians are available throughout the UK for rapid deployment for oil and gas asset management.

Through this long-standing relationship, Penspen’s deep understanding of GTC’s business ensures the client continues to receive an operationally robust and responsive service, optimising commercial outcomes with an unwavering commitment to safety.  

This recent award sees Penspen building on an excellent track record and successful partnership with GTC.
