With 492 oil and gas projects expected to commence operations between 2023 and 2027, to say that producers in Africa are in for a decidedly busy time would be something of an understatement. Of course, the trigger for this phenomenal surge in activity is primarily down to the European Commission’s plans to end Europe’s dependence on Russian fossil fuels following the Kremlin-sanctioned invasion of Ukraine.
