With 70+ years experience in the oil and gas industry, we have a strong heritage across the UK and Europe. Originally specialising in cathodic protection and construction supervision, Penspen was founded under the name ‘Spencer & Partners’ in London in 1954.
In 1957, it branched out to form a separate ‘Pipeline Engineering Consultants’ practice called ‘PENCOL’. Then, in 1969, the two branches merged under the single name Penspen, an amalgamation of Pencol and Spencer & Partners.
The current Europe division combines all of these core strengths, delivering integrated engineering, project management, asset management, asset integrity and training experience across the region. With key engineering hubs in London, Newcastle and Neath, we bring global engineering experience to local project requirements across Europe & the UK.
